Andrew McDermott runs the infrastructure that allows Future Today Strategy Group to do its best work. As Operations Manager, he leads FTSG’s IT governance and security, vendor management, and facilities operations. Andrew builds and runs many of the core processes – from talent operations to financial tracking – that keep the firm running smoothly. In addition, he owns all behind-the-scenes logistics for the firm’s events and initiatives

Before joining FTSG, Andrew held business analyst and operations management roles at Ogletree Deakins, Duke Energy, and The Hartford, working across legal, energy, and financial services. He holds an MBA in leadership and change from Queens University of Charlotte and a degree in computer information systems from Quinnipiac University.

Outside of work, Andrew chairs his son’s Cub Scout pack, having previously served on his HOA board and run the local T-ball league – he’s always building the missing operations manual along the way.
