Our Next Chapter: FTSG

Today marks an exciting evolution in our company’s nearly two-decade journey. We are proud to announce our new name: Future Today Strategy Group – or FTSG. We are still the same company, but this change reflects a renewed commitment to our foundational belief that foresight and strategy must work in harmony to create meaningful organizational transformation.

Foresight and strategy were never meant to be separate disciplines. Leaders today deal with a soul-crushing amount of deep uncertainty. As a result, we’ve observed a troubling trend where long-term planning has shifted from a decade, to years, to just the next quarter or two. Meanwhile, foresight work, divorced from day-to-day strategy, risks becoming an intellectual exercise without practical impact. We’re here to change that.

As custodians of the future, we understand the gravity of our work and our privilege as futurists. Our goal remains unchanged: to empower leaders, organizations, governments and everyday people to navigate uncertainty and make choices that result in growth, sustainable progress, and meaningful positive impact in their communities. Our new name signals our commitment to bridging the gap between future-focused thinking and practical strategy implementation.

What does this mean for our clients and partners? It means working with a team that combines rigorous foresight methodologies with actionable strategic frameworks. We help organizations not just envision possible futures, but actively shape them through disciplined strategic choices. Our data-driven approach identifies where to play and how to win in the future while building organizational resilience against unforeseen disruptions.

We take pride in our ability to do more with less, consistently outperforming larger advisory firms through focus, efficiency, and our drive to generate tangible results. We bring together the curiosity to question cherished beliefs, the discipline to conduct rigorous research, and the empathy to understand our clients’ challenges and aspirations. We maintain the balance of confidence and humility that complex futures work demands.

Those ideals are reflected in our new branding. The F and T ligature indicates that the future is tethered to the present day. The outward-pointing triangle at the top of the G forms an arrow to symbolize wayfinding toward the horizon. It also mirrors the exponential patterns of change we see in emerging technology, which is at the core of our work. Purple signifies creativity, fluidity, and transformation. Combined, these new elements of our brand identity represent our ongoing mission: to empower organizations to make better decisions about the future, today.

The future doesn’t arrive fully formed – it’s created through the choices and actions we take today. We invite you to join us in this exciting new chapter as we continue building better futures through strategic foresight.
