Mark leads the Built Environment practice at Future Today Strategy Group, where he brings an understanding of how the principles of psychology, culture, and human behavior can shape and change the future. His diverse client portfolio – spanning workplace, mixed-use, CPG, education, health care, hospitality, retail, and more – represents the future of how we live, work, play, and otherwise interact with the world around us.
An NCIDQ Certified Interior Designer, Mark worked as a workplace strategist, design researcher, and futurist for clients all across the country from concept through construction administration. Most recently, he was the Director of Innovation + Research and Senior Interior Designer at a multi-disciplinary firm.
Mark has authored several whitepapers and developed research surrounding what leaders need to know about the future of workplace culture. He currently serves on the board of IIDA (International Interior Design Association) and was recognized by Columbus Business First in 2022 as a “40 Under 40” honoree. He is a frequent speaker at major built environment industry events, as well as a guest lecturer and advisor in the strategic foresight class offered at New York University’s Stern School of Business.
Mark holds an undergraduate degree in interior design from Virginia Tech. He is also the author of two YA novels that Kirkus Review lauded for bringing “Norse mythology to a Harry Potter-style school environment.”
